Where Faith, Service, and Community Flourish

Nestled in Kansas City, Missouri, Jerusalem Farm is more than a place—it’s a way of life. Built on the cornerstones of Prayer, Community, Service, and Simplicity, this Catholic intentional community seeks to transform lives through meaningful service, sustainable living, and the daily practice of love in action.

A Week That Changes Lives

High school and college groups, families, and adults are welcomed into the rhythm of life at Jerusalem Farm through immersive week-long service retreats. Participants share meals and prayer with the community, then go out each day to serve neighbors—repairing homes, clearing brush, and building relationships.

These retreats often become life-changing encounters. Students discover new strength in themselves, learn to pray in fresh and meaningful ways, and come to see God’s presence in the ordinary and the overlooked.

One student reflected: “Prayer was difficult for me before coming to Jerusalem Farm, but here I felt more connected to God—and I want to keep feeling that way.”

Another shared: “Clearing brush impacted me most because I realized how strong I am.”

These simple but profound experiences stay with young people, shaping how they live, how they pray, and how they serve long after they leave the Farm.

Your Generosity Makes This Possible

In 2023, thanks to the generosity of St. Anthony’s followers and devotees, Jerusalem Farm received a $12,600 grant for its Catholic Retreat Scholarship Fund. This gift covered the full cost of a week-long retreat for 36 high school students from disadvantaged backgrounds—students who otherwise would not have been able to attend.

Your generosity doesn’t just fund a retreat. It opens doors for young people to discover their strength, deepens their faith, and helps them see God at work in the world. Together, we are building a community where prayer comes alive, service becomes joy, and love makes all things new.

Breaking Down Barriers Through Generosity

Because of your support, dozens of young lives were touched by Christ’s love, homes in Kansas City were repaired, and entire communities were renewed by the spirit of service. And this is just the beginning. With continued support, Jerusalem Farm can expand these opportunities, welcoming more young people, repairing more homes, and planting seeds of transformation that grow far beyond Kansas City.
